About

I have walked the Camino de Santiago three times.  As for many others, this was a powerful experience, providing for self-reflection, adventure, fitness, exploring other cultures, and meeting like-minded people.   It develops self-reliance and resilience and I feel that the experience helped frame how I see the world and how I see myself.  I found myself wanting to have memory anchors from that experience, which among other experiences, help to form the scrapbook of my life.

I had a vision of creating clothing and stickers and household decor that served as a reminder of the Camino.  As this idea was brewing, I realized that I would see themes on online forums of people wondering what to take, or how to address certain problems, or relaying real-time obstacles and I realized that I might also provide some products that address those sore spots.

I value and respect everyone's approach to doing their Camino.

I very proudly carried my very tiny bag every step and feel like I figured out how to pack and live off the bare necessities.  I have a philosophy of only carrying things that I need - not things that I want, not things that I might need or want - and that almost everything needs to serve multiple purposes.  For example,  I carry a Turkish towel - lightweight and quick drying - which serves as a towel, a sheet, a blanket, a pillow, a beach/picnic towel, and a skirt, when necessary.  One item stead of six.

As I anticipate my fourth Camino in the coming months, I realize that I may not have the time, the distance in my legs or the strength in my back to do it as I used to and I look forward to learning about alternate Camino experiences, as I tackle my fourth route.

This is just the beginning.  As we grow, I hope to add more gear/accessories and all of the 'souvenir's' one could need, to become a one-stop shop for all things Camino.

If you have feedback, or suggestions for items we might offer, I welcome you to be in touch.

Until then,  Buen Camino!
